Welcome to my Blog! This is my first entry and anyone who stumbles onto this will get the story behind the name. Every evening I get settled on the couch, pick up my knitting and start the fight for space, with Emily, my 16 yr old cat. She usually sits so close to my side that I can't move my elbow. We go through a few minutes of push and shove and she finally settles into the corner giving me the room that I need. However, she watches every stitch that I knit and has logged hundreds of hours knitting with me. I think she deserves her own space here, too! With that I'll say goodnight and leave you with this thought!

- A REALTOR by day an obsessive knitter by night. I have been knitting since the age of seven and never really done much with it. Simple scarves, mittens, hats and baby items were about all I accomplished. This year I have dedicated a lot of time to really master this art and have learned a great deal. I have had an urge to create original designs and have started with Eco-friendly shopping bags for my friends and family. But I'm not stopping there! My husband and I own five Alpacas and another desire is to learn to spin their fiber. That's on the calendar for this year!
